Over the last eight months, HKA’s Grade 10 students have been working on their IB MYP Personal Projects. Through independent investigations and research, they have developed products and outcomes based on their personal interests, and at the same time have consolidated their learning from the five years of the IB MYP.
As well as demonstrating the different approaches to learning, the Personal Project process provides an opportunity for every student to develop their understanding of a particular topic and dive deeper into an authentic, project based learning experience.
In addition to producing a product, students also create a report documenting their journey as learners. And this year, they have also been able to showcase some highlights from their process through HKA’s virtual exhibition space.
