Founded in 2000, HKA prides itself as a truly international, non-profit, IB World School committed to providing an inclusive educational experience for students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12.
Choosing HKA means becoming part of a culture of belonging that inspires students to become intellectually curious, intrinsically motivated, and interculturally minded global citizens. This mission embodies the traditions, values, and aspirations of this community, which is also what attracted my family and I here to work, learn and grow.
There is so much that sets Hong Kong Academy apart: our combination of international curriculum and accreditations , global partnerships and local connections, non-profit status, stunning campus setting, and award-winning sustainable facilities. However, what truly makes HKA special is our unwavering commitment to an educational experience in which all students feel challenged, motivated, supported and connected.
Nearly 25 years ago, two red doors served as the entrance to a small, emerging school driven by a desire to offer an educational experience that was unique in Hong Kong. Today, the red doors of our beautiful Sai Kung campus continue to symbolise this gateway to individual excellence for every child in our care.
