This was a start to the school year like no other we have experienced before. Having had the chance to finish out the 2019-2020 school year with four weeks of face-to-face instruction, it was disappointing to begin the new year online. Despite that, 100% of our Secondary School students accessed their first day of synchronous Advisory lessons and every Primary School family was in contact with classroom teachers. The strength and dynamism of our students, parents, faculty and staff reinforced how resilient we are as a community and demonstrated the many ways we come together in support of one another regardless of the challenges we face. As we begin the 2020-21 school year in an unfamiliar landscape, we are confident that we will continue to find opportunities to celebrate our shared commitment to the HKA mission and to the learning of every child in our school.
