Our History
Founded in 2000 as an international school offering an inclusive, child-centred and inquiry-based education, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary throughout this school year. We are proud of our history and many achievements and remain committed to nurturing the potential within every student, empowering them to become capable, confident, compassionate and creative global citizens.
HKA Through The Years
Return to post-pandemic sports travel sees HKA bring home gold medals in 6 regional tournaments: ISSFHK U20 boys volleyball, ACAMIS U20 girls volleyball, ACAMIS U20 girls basketball, ISSFHK division 2 U12 boys football, ACAMIS U15 boys football, ISSFHK division 2 U14 girls netball. The G4 – 12 sailing team won the RHKYC Interschools sailing competition and student athletes also placed in a wide range of individual sports including equestrian, cross country, track & field, sailing and surf ski.
With CIS/WASC and IB re- authorisations completed in 23/24, HKA launches an updated school-wide strategy to serve as a roadmap and guide the schools growth for the next 3-5 years.
