REPORTING GUIDANCE

Grade 6 to Grade 8

Grade 9 to Grade 10

Grade 11 to Grade 12

Because we believe that the most authentic representation of student learning is through the subject specific criteria, grades 6-8 reports will contain:

MYP criteria levels of achievement, but no final overall grade.
A course overview for Semester 1 and 2.

Students who are not graded against MYP criteria will receive N/A and a narrative comment.

Note: Grade boundaries will be on the front of the report.

Because we believe that the most authentic representation of student learning is through the subject specific criteria and also recognize that grades are necessary for the high school transcript, grades 9-10 reports will contain:

MYP criteria levels of achievement.
Final grade calculated based on MYP grade boundaries.
A course overview for Semester 1 and 2.
Narrative comment written by the supervisor for the Personal Project (G10 only).

Students who are not graded against MYP criteria will receive a Pass or Fail based on the modified, subject specific criteria.

Note: Criteria mark totals will be calculated and the grade boundaries will be on the front of the report.
