We are delighted to welcome you to the HKA community. The new family information pages outline important actions and useful contacts which will help your family prepare to start school successfully. You will also be receiving specific orientation and onboarding emails from our admissions team, do not hesitate to contact admisisons with any questions you might have admissions@hkacademy.edu.hk.
New family ACTION ITEMS
Register for the school bus and purchase uniforms using the information below. You will activate your EATS account for snack and lunch arrangements during the New Family registration event.

BUS
Our school bus provider offers morning, mid day and afternoon school bus service for students travelling from all over Hong Kong including Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories.
We understand that incoming families may not yet know where they will be living. Please find an overview of routes and costs here or contact bus to register and secure bus seats for your children.

Uniform
HKA’s school uniform is durable and comfortable, we also offer freecycle uniform items free of charge on campus. The uniform can be purchased either online or at our uniform suppliers shop in Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon.
We also open a pop-up uniform shop on campus in August and hold a small stock of Freecycle uniform all year round.

hkaEATS
Fresh and nutritionally balanced food is prepared onsite daily by the hkaEATS team. A range of snack, cold and hot lunch options are available every day. You will activate your Eats account during the New Student Orientation Day and can contact EATS throughout the year if you need support.
New Family Integration
We are pleased to welcome new families to HKA all year round. Our Buddy Parent and New Family Orientation activities will take some of the uncertainty out of your transition and provide you with information and connection as you settle into our welcoming community.

HKA’s language of instruction and communication is English. If a family or community member requires translation we recommend they use https://translate.google.com/ to translate messages. HKA’s original English language version shall prevail in case of any inconsistencies.
CO-Curricular
HKA believes that student success should be defined by the interests, strengths and ambitions of the individual. Our co-curricular and seasonal programmes extend and enhance what happens in the classroom during regular instructional time. Co-curricular programmes run on a semesterly basis with sign ups opened through the school news and parent portal.
