What specific university counseling support does the school provide?

You are here:

HKA’s post-secondary planning process begins in Grade 9, where students start analysing their unique strengths as learners and exploring their long-term interests. HKA provides a comprehensive, structured support system that includes:

Personalised Guidance: One-on-one meetings, specialised small group workshops, and informational evening events for families.
Active Collaboration: Students take the primary lead in researching, planning, and making decisions, closely supported by parents, teachers, curriculum coordinators, and the dedicated university counsellor.
Global Exposure & Networking: On-campus and virtual university visits from representatives worldwide. Families attend presentations and university fairs to understand different international admissions systems. Additionally, HKA’s alumni network actively connects with current students to share real-world advice on application mechanics, relocating abroad, and adapting to campus life.
